Hey all,
My name is Tanesha Williams and I am a sophomore at BSC. I am a theater major and an English minor, maybe sociology minor... not sure yet :). I am originally from Hattiesburg, Mississippi, which isn't too far from Birmingham.
I am involved in ALOT of campus activities including: Black Student Union, Southern Ambassador (gives campus tours to those considering BSC), 'Southern Diversity Delegate, which heads the Multi-Cultural Organizations on campus, ALLIES, and others. The classes I am taking this semester are, Intro to Sociology 101, Contemporary Social Problems 102, Theater Make-up, and French 201.
My interim for this year is the Theater Interim. This interim is unique because we basically have a month to learn lines, build our own set, get a lighting plot, and a sound plot. It's students that help create the light plot, sound plot, and build the set. It's a great theater experience for all those interested in theater!!
I'll continue to keep you up to speed on what's going on!!!
